Kerry Larsen was born and raised in the Grand Rapids Area and has worked for the Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce for nine years. She started volunteering at the shelter in 2008 after deciding it was time to start volunteering in the community. After some thought Kerry went with her passion - ANIMALS. She has had a long time passion for animals and decided this would be a perfect fit. Kerry was approached by another board member about joining the board after volunteering for quite some time. She has been a board member since 2009. Kerry is married to Jason Larsen and has a son Christopher Figueroa and three step daughters Brittney, Taylor and Sara Larsen.
