My name is Sally Kaml (Edwards) and I’m very honored to be Board President of Star of the North Humane Society! I am currently employed at Ross Resources as a Human Resource Officer and have worked with children and their families for the past six years. Along with helping families in difficult situations, my other passion is animals. Our family has a dairy farm in Detroit Lakes, MN that I’ve always loved to help out on. When I was younger, I could usually be found in the hayloft petting the new kittens and cats. I also loved milking the cows and feeding the calves. It seems that stray animals or animals needing help always find their way to me, I’m a magnet!
I have been married for over two years and my husband and I own two dogs-Steve (a very handsome Husky-Shepherd), and Cooper (A playful Chihuahua-Maltese). We enjoy walking our dogs, watching movies and spending time with friends and family.
